Elephant Sands Adventure Lodge is situated 50 km north of Nata on a 16000 ha private unfenced conservancy with many animals freely roaming around. I visited Elephant Sands as part of an overland tour and was due to camp at the site but decided to upgrade into a pre erected tent with en-suite facilities and a terrace overlooking the water holeThe room was a fantastic price and provided an even more magical experience watching at least 30 wild elephants drink at the watering hole.
